In a fusion of sports, fashion and crypto, major crypto firm Crypto.com has teamed up with Paris Saint-Germain F.C. and Blvck Paris for an exclusive collaboration, offering fans early access to a highly anticipated fashion collection through non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Paris Saint-Germain, a leading soccer club, and Blvck Paris, an avant-garde fashion brand, have together unveiled a unique collaboration that showcases not just physical apparel, but also a digital fashion drop through hosted exclusively on the Crypto.com marketplace.

Notably, 10% of these NFTs are special edition collectibles that grant holders the privilege of redeeming a box of physical items from the collaborative fashion collection.

All NFTs are minted on the Cronos chain, a blockchain supported by Crypto.com.

The physical fashion items are slated for release next week.

What is Paris Saint-Germain’s crypto strategy?

The collaboration builds on Paris Saint-Germain’s strategic moves into the crypto space, including the launch of a crypto fan token in collaboration with Socios.com.

The club has previously engaged with NFTs, distributing artificial intelligence (AI)-generated posters through Crypto.com, despite regulators in countries like the UK warning soccer clubs against the use of fan tokens and NFTs.

One of the club’s stars, Kylian Mbappé, further extends the club’s reach into the NFT space as a brand ambassador for Sorare, an NFT fantasy soccer game.
